Judge Simon Maude
Simon Maude was appointed a Family Court Judge, sitting in Whangarei, in January 2008. Prior to his appointment he practised as a specialist Family Lawyer in Wellington for a little over 30 years and while practising was, between 2000 and 2007, a member of the New Zealand Law Society's Family Law Section executive and its Chair from 2005 to 2007. Simon has a keen interest in families and therefore youth at risk.
Tony Watts

A partner in BDO Auckland from 1992 - 2010, Tony has 25 years accounting experience with specialist skills in business and share valuations, including numerous appearances in the Family, District and High Courts as an expert witness.
Tony has a varied business advisory client base with a concentration on technology, engineering, importing and wholesale distribution, transport and property development, and has conducted seminars nationwide on finance and business valuations for the New Zealand Law Society and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand.
The Revd Glynn Cardy
B.A, LTh, B.D., Dip Soc. Sc.
Glynn Cardy is the vicar of St Matthew-in-the-City, an Anglican church in Auckland central, and the Archdeacon of Auckland. Glynn spent 9 years working in the Glen Innes area as community worker, curate and then vicar of Glen Innes. He was the vicar of St Andrew’s in Epsom for 11 years, and the Archdeacon of Maungawhau.
For 12 years Glynn was involved with various youth ministries and he has also been involved in various justice-related causes, such as gay and lesbian rights. He writes regularly for magazines, newspapers and books, on the broad subject of spirituality.
Glynn has significant experience in the area of community development, in particular liaising with government and community groups, and fostering the establishment of locally based social services. He has worked closely with Maori and Tongan church and community groups.
