Braveheart will financially support and provide practical initiatives in either of the following categories:
School years 7-10: Braveheart will consult with those who work closely with children who are at risk, to identify their needs and the best means of assistance. Targeted financial support will be provided to Year 7-10 students;
15-21 years: in consultation with key people in the justice system and local communities, youth will be identified who would benefit from specific and meaningful interventions such as educational, career-oriented, life skills, sporting and mentoring programmes.
The Right Track Education programme, is the first project that Braveheart will be supporting.
In addition, gifts in kind is a practical way in which support can be provided to ‘at risk’ students in all schools, including primary. For more information please see gifts in kind.
